Birthday Boy

Our little baby is now officially a "toddler," according to the weekly email I get from babycenter.com. We had a lot of fun celebrating his first birthday. We had to wait a few weeks before we could really celebrate because the move fell right in the middle of his birthday week, but we figured he would never know the difference. And he didn't.


These next few pictures are from his actual birthday. Auntie Jeanette was nice enough to make him a cake so we could have a simple "pizza and cake" family party on July 1st. I really like this picture of Ashton and Jacob. All of his cousins are so sweet with him and he loves to be around them.

...except for Spencer. He would rather sleep on the floor. haha

I know I seem more excited about this present than Ashton, but I just love this toy!! I would always play with it at Jeanette's house and now Ashton loves chasing the balls around and putting them back down the shoot.
For some reason, he doesn't like how grass, or sand, feel on his knees. So he does the "crab walk" whenever he's on the grass. Crazy boy.

He kept popping balloons and laughing afterwards. We kept waiting for him to freak out, but he would just giggle.
